Beginner/Basic Flow Series (6 Wednesday evening classes) $90 ($15/class) For someone with no or little yoga experience. Please make sure you register to reserve your spot.

The beginner/basic package is intended for Wednesday Beginner/Basic Flow Series only.

Yoga: union, to connect with the essence of
who we are.
Prana:life force, universal force, expression of consciousness.
Vinyasa: to place attention in a mindful and sacred way. flowing from one thing to another in a sequence of mindful attention.
Flow: "an unbroken stream" of awareness. (Shiva Rea)
Hatha:the physical aspect of yoga, balancing the lunar (moon) and the solar (sun) energies in the body. Ha (sun) tha (moon).




Vinyasa flow is an evolving form of hatha yoga that links the breath and asana with energetic alignment. In the classes we focus on unifying the actions of the body, breath and mind to create awareness and develop concentration. We explore different asanas (depending on class and level) sequenced in a creative flow to inspiring music. Each class ends with healing savasana (relaxation).
 


Class Descriptions
 
Basic/Intermediate Vinyasa Flow:In this Hatha Vinyasa Flow class we will explore asanas with energetic alignment sequenced in a invigorating creative flow.  Here we practice to embody the balance between the energizing and strength-based solar (ha) vinyasas and the receptive calming lunar (tha) vinyasas. For someone with yoga experience.
 
Beginners/Basic Flow Yoga Series: This is for someone with little or no yoga experience. The course will give you a foundation to practice yoga in a safe, creative and inspiring way. You will be led through basic asanas with focus on dynamic alignment in a breath-oriented flow.  Every class ends with healing savasana (relaxation).  This is a wonderful  course for someone that is curious about yoga and wants to practice in a safe and supportive environment.

Lunar Flow:  This class is designed to immerse you into a calming and peaceful flow of asanas to experience the beauty of stillness and bliss. Open level.

Chakra Flow:In this class we combine asana flow, guided meditations and visualizations, soothing breathing exercises, mudras, mantras and healing movement exercises/rituals to open and balance our chakras. Chakras are spiraling energy centers that govern the regulation of our life force (prana). When energy are flowing freely through our 7 chakra centers we feel grounded, connected, powerful, confident, creative and loving. Each center identifies a core human need and through attention and intention we can open these chakra centers and restore health in our body, mind and spirit. These classes give you a wonderful journey through your physical, emotional and energetic body. Open to all levels.
 
Restorative Yoga:Restorative Yoga is a deeply restful, meditative and healing form of yoga. In a restorative class the body is supported by props like bolsters and blankets to stimulate, sooth and relax. The student is guided through different poses that gently stretch, bend, twist and move the spine in different directions. This relaxing and rejuvenating practice allows the entire body, mind and spirit to move toward balance, calmness and bliss. The practice of restorative yoga teaches us to surrender into the present moment. Guided meditation, pranayama (deep breathing exercises) and visualizations are embodied within the practice that is set to soothing and relaxing music. Restorative yoga is one of the best gifts you can give yourself. Open to all levels.

Basic/Intermediate Vinyasa Flow & Restorative:This class blends Basic/Int Vinyasa Flow and Restorative Yoga. We start with 60 minutes of a invigorating vinyasa flow to warm up the body and awaken the prana, and end with 30 minutes of delicious restorative poses that allows the body, mind and spirit to feel renewed and peaceful. For someone with yoga experience.

Solar Flow & Restorative:In this class you will experience the combination of Solar Flow for 60 minutes and Restorative Yoga for 30 minutes.  Be prepared to move in a dynamic flow of yoga asanas and then unwind into deep rest and stillness. For someone with yoga experience.
 
Solar Flow:The energizing and positively challenging Solar Flow is designed to cultivate strength and vitality for change and transformation. Be prepared to move in a dynamic flow of yoga asanas. For someone with yoga experience.

One-on-one sessions are a wonderful way to explore yoga in a safe and supportive environment.  The classes will be tailored to meet your personal needs, whether you are seeking to increase flexibility and strength, improve your posture, connect to yourself, discover your true creative potential, gain a deeper understanding of yoga, move with more grace and ease, calm your mind.

One-on-one sessions are each 60 minutes.

Rates for semi-privates (2-3 people, both women and men) sessions are the above plus $10 per additional client.
Example:
If you and your friend wants to sign up for a 3-class package the amount that each of you will pay is $105.  
The total for a 3-class package is $180 when it's a one-on-one session.  For 3 semi-private sessions with two people there is an extra $30 ($10/session).
